Kann sich jemand eine rasende Fahrt mit dem Motocross-Motorrad \u00fcber die zerkl\u00fcfteten Schrammsteine im Elbsandsteingebirge vorstellen? Ich kann dem Meister da nur Recht geben: Traumhaftes Zusammenspiel (Christian Marien, dr; Oliver Potratz, b; Kalle Kalima, g), zum Mit-der-Zunge-Schnalzen (ein \u00bbTr\u00e4umchen\u00ab), zum Tr\u00e4umen einladend, einfach das, was man sich auf diesem Gebiet der Musik schon immer ertr\u00e4umt hat. Klar \u2013 die Instrumentierung von Frank Gratkowskis \u00bbZ-Country Paradise\u00ab weicht von denen der genannten Bands durchaus ab, aber der Freigeist, die raffinierte Rhythmik, die Expressivit\u00e4t, die Offerten des Unerwarteten, auch manche musikalische Skurrilit\u00e4t sprechen eine eindeutige Sprache: Mit Z-Country Paradise ist eine Band geboren, die die Hochglanz-All-Inklusive-Ressort-Musik \u00e0 la Tom Gaebel, Torsten Goods oder Viktoria Tolstoy mit St\u00fcrmen sauerstoffreicher Frischluftwirbel hinwegfegen kann.
