Feinheit trifft auf Vehemenz, Musikmalerei auf Strukturst\u00e4rke, Leichtigkeit auf beil\u00e4ufige Vielschichtigkeit. Angetrieben von der empathischen Pr\u00e4senz der Bandleaderin, Dirigentin, Komponistin, die jedem Musiker, jedem Ton das Gef\u00fchl gibt, das Zentrum der Welt zu sein, entwickelt das Orchester im f\u00fcr ein Ensemble dieser Gr\u00f6\u00dfe ungew\u00f6hnlichen Clubrahmen eine Intensit\u00e4t, die die Spannung im Raum am Knistern h\u00e4lt. Die Musik stammt aus zwei Jahrzehnten, l\u00e4sst sich von Gedichten, V\u00f6geln, Erinnerungen inspirieren, wirkt weit und frei, ohne sich zu verlieren. Es ist die Fortsetzung einer Orchesteridee, die aus der Verkn\u00fcpfung grandioser Individualisten von Steve Wilson und Danny McCaslin bis Frank Kimbrough und Jonathan Blake eine Einheit der Gesamterscheinung werden l\u00e4sst, die wie nebenbei die \u00fcblichen Kontraste von Improvisation und k\u00fcnstlerischer Festlegung zusammenf\u00fchrt.
