Besetzung: Neben Escoffery selbst David Kikoski (Klavier \/ Rhodes), Ralph Peterson (Drums) und Stefan Lievestro als Ersatz f\u00fcr den verhinderten Ugonna Ukegwo. Die Musik: hardboppig elegant, stellenweise beinahe \u00fcbervoll, was an den Vielt\u00f6nern Kikoski und Peterson lag, die in ihrer Gestaltungslust kaum zu bremsen waren. Escoffery wiederum gl\u00e4nzte durch einen ebenso eleganten wie geschmeidigen Ton und die F\u00e4higkeit, seiner Energien enorm umsichtig und pointiert zuspitzen zu k\u00f6nnen.
