Pr\u00e4sentiert wird es von den beiden k\u00fcnstlerischen Leiter der Ottobrunner Konzerte, Cornelius Claudio Kreusch und Johannes Tonio\u00a0Kreusch. Die beiden Br\u00fcder haben f\u00fcr diesen Abend die brasilianische Star-S\u00e4ngerin Badi Assad und den Perkussionisten von Paul Simon und Sting, Jamey Haddad geladen. Mit Cornelius Claudio Kreusch am Klavier und Johannes Tonio Kreusch an der Gitarre werden die vier an diesem Abend erstmals ihr im Oktober diesen Jahres erscheinendes Album \u201eTwo worlds one\u201c vor Publikum vorstellen. Mai moderieren. Das NDR Fernsehen \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt die Highlights am 30. Mai ab 23:15 Uhr. Grammy-Gewinner Porter erhielt im vergangenen Jahr bereits einen ECHO Jazz als S\u00e4nger des Jahres, und auch am 28. Mai wird er nicht nur Moderator, sondern zugleich Preistr\u00e4ger sein: Mit seinem Album Liquid Spirit lieferte er den Bestseller des Jahres. Der ECHO z\u00e4hlt zu den international wichtigsten und renommiertesten Musikawards der Welt. Juni (19.30 Uhr) 50 Prozent Jazz und 50 Prozent Funk\/Latin\/Fusion auf die B\u00fchne des Raven in Straubing zaubern. Zusammen sind das 100 Prozent mitrei\u00dfender Bigband Sound. Bestehend aus einer erfrischenden Mischung von jungen und junggebliebenen Musikern aus dem ostbayerischen Raum hat sich die Formation in der Region unter der Leitung von Markus Fritsch einen sehr guten Ruf erspielt. Ein mitrei\u00dfender Abend ist garantiert, zumal die musikalischen Ausfl\u00fcge in die swingend-jazzigen Gefilde von Count Basie, Sammy Nestico, Thad Jones und Peter Herbolzheimer bis hin zu zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Arrangements von Michael Buble, Tower of Power, David Sanborn, Aretha Franklin und Electro Deluxe f\u00fchren.
