LICHTER Filmfest Frankfurt International nach sechs Spieltagen zu Ende. Vom 17. bis 22. M\u00e4rz hatten regionale und internationale Filmreihen, Talks, Kunstinstallationen und Partys das Festivalzentrum um den Cantate-Saal in einen gro\u00dfen Kultur-Campus verwandelt. Mit 12.000 Besuchern blicken die Veranstalter 2015 auf ein Rekordjahr zur\u00fcck. \u201eWir hatten \u00fcber 30 Premieren im Programm, konnten zahlreiche Filme zeigen, die sonst kaum ihren Weg auf die gro\u00dfe Leinwand finden und haben uns \u00fcber ausverkaufte Kinos\u00e4le gefreut. Wir haben Filmschaffende mit Experten und Publikum ins Gespr\u00e4ch gebracht und in viele zufriedene Gesichter geblickt\u201c, res\u00fcmiert Festivaldirektor Gregor Maria Schubert. Auch die strengste Jury der Welt hat in diesem Jahr wieder ein Urteil bei LICHTER gef\u00e4llt \u2013 die Zuschauer: Der Binding Publikumspreis ging in diesem Jahr an \u201eCarlo, Keep Swingin\u00b4\u201c von Elizabeth Ok. Die einf\u00fchlsame Dokumentation \u00fcber den Frankfurter Trompeter Carlo Bohl\u00e4nder, der den Jazz in der jungen Bundesrepublik etablierte, l\u00e4sst zahlreiche Legenden zu Wort kommen und macht bislang unver\u00f6ffentlichtes Archivmaterial zug\u00e4nglich. Der mit 2.000 dotierte Preis wird bereits im dritten Jahr von der Binding-Brauerei gestiftet. Mal findet das Internationale Jazzweekend M\u00fcnchen-Unterf\u00f6hring statt. Am 17. Juli geht\u2019s los mit einem Er\u00f6ffnungs-Doppelkonzert in der Unterf\u00f6hringer Bibliothek unter dem Motto \u201eJazz meets Classic\u201c. Am Samstag folgt ein <em>World Star of Vocal Jazz<\/em>: Die vielfach preisgekr\u00f6nte Jazzs\u00e4ngerin Dianne Reeves. F\u00fcr ihre atemberaubende Virtuosit\u00e4t, ihre vollendete Improvisationstechnik und einzigartige Jazz- und R&amp;B- Gesangsk\u00fcnste erhielt sie den Grammy Award f\u00fcr die beste Jazz Vocal Performance f\u00fcr drei aufeinanderfolgende Plattenaufnahmen.
