Krebs &#8211; Der 1975 in Bad Aibling geborene Pianist Chris Gall, der \u00fcbrigens vor 15 Jahren zum ersten Mal im M\u00fcnchner Jazzclub Unterfahrt spielte, pr\u00e4sentierte dort am 20.01.2015 vor komplett ausverkauftem Haus seine aktuelle auf dem Label GLM erschiene CD \u201ePiano Solo\u201c. Bereits beim ersten St\u00fcck sprang der Funke sprang \u00fcber. Gall zog das konzentrierte, aufmerksame Publikum mit wunderbaren Eigenkompositionen sofort in seinen Bann. Dabei wechselten romantische Kleinode mit minimalistisch gepr\u00e4gten St\u00fccken und expressionistische Kl\u00e4nge mit beseelten Improvisationen, die sich in der Folge zu einem wundervoll stimmigen Ablauf zusammenf\u00fcgten. Ein absoluter H\u00f6hepunkt des Konzerts (und im \u00fcbrigen auch der CD) war das Thom Yorke gewidmete St\u00fcck \u201eYorke\u2019s Guitar\u201c, ein recht komplexer, melodisch eing\u00e4ngiger Ohrwurm, der das Zeug zu einem modernen \u201eJazz-Standard\u201c mitbringt. Bemerkenswert waren auch die von Chris Gall in seinem Programm gespielten Fremdkompositionen \u201eLa Valse d\u2019Am\u00e9lie\u201c, Debussys \u201eThe Little Sheppard\u201c und \u201eImplacable\u201c &#8211; fantastische Adaptionen die aufh\u00f6ren lassen, welche musikalische Kraft in den St\u00fccken steckt. Bluesig verklingt schlie\u00dflich die Zugabe \u201eMoran\u201c und macht Lust auf mehr von Chris Gall Piano Solo. Alles in allem ein erfrischender und spannender Klavierabend, der zum (Nach)h\u00f6ren der CD einl\u00e4dt. Bereits beim ersten St\u00fcck sprang der Funke sprang \u00fcber. Gall zog das konzentrierte, aufmerksame Publikum mit wunderbaren Eigenkompositionen sofort in seinen Bann. Dabei wechselten romantische Kleinode mit minimalistisch gepr\u00e4gten St\u00fccken und expressionistische Kl\u00e4nge mit beseelten Improvisationen, die sich in der Folge zu einem wundervoll stimmigen Ablauf zusammenf\u00fcgten. Ein absoluter H\u00f6hepunkt des Konzerts (und im \u00fcbrigen auch der CD) war das Thom Yorke gewidmete St\u00fcck \u201eYorke\u2019s Guitar\u201c, ein recht komplexer, melodisch eing\u00e4ngiger Ohrwurm, der das Zeug zu einem modernen \u201eJazz-Standard\u201c mitbringt. Bemerkenswert waren auch die von Chris Gall in seinem Programm gespielten Fremdkompositionen \u201eLa Valse d\u2019Am\u00e9lie\u201c, Debussys \u201eThe Little Sheppard\u201c und \u201eImplacable\u201c &#8211; fantastische Adaptionen die aufh\u00f6ren lassen, welche musikalische Kraft in den St\u00fccken steckt. Bluesig verklingt schlie\u00dflich die Zugabe \u201eMoran\u201c und macht Lust auf mehr von Chris Gall Piano Solo.
