Dieses Jahr geht die Auszeichnung an den\u00a0<b>Drummer\u00a0Billy Cobham<\/b>.\u00a0Die Preisverleihung findet am\u00a018. Juli 2024\u00a0in der\u00a0SpardaWelt\u00a0statt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;\">Billy Cobham, geboren am 16. Mai 1944 in Panama und aufgewachsen in Brooklyn, New York, begann seine Musikkarriere bereits mit acht Jahren in einer Drum- und Trompetenkapelle. Nach seiner Milit\u00e4rzeit spielte er in verschiedenen Bands, darunter bei Horace Silver und Miles Davis\u2019 Fusion-Ensemble. Im Jahr 1971 war er Mitbegr\u00fcnder des Mahavishnu Orchestra. Cobham ver\u00f6ffentlichte 1973 sein bahnbrechendes Soloalbum &#8222;Spectrum\u201d. In den folgenden Jahren schuf er innovative Fusion-Musik und arbeitete mit renommierten K\u00fcnstlern zusammen.
