Internationale Jazzwoche Burghausen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ein Festival wie die Internationale Jazzwoche Burghausen muss mit vielen Variablen rechnen. Da ist zum einen die eigene Tradition, die auf mehr als ein halbes Jahrhundert Geschichte zur\u00fcckblickt und auf eine beachtliche Anzahl der Ber\u00fchmtheiten stolz sein kann, die in der vergleichsweise kleinen Stadt an der Salzach zu Gast waren. Man muss dar\u00fcber hinaus die ortstypische Infrastruktur bedenken, von der f\u00fcr eine knappe Woche umgewidmeten Werksversammlungshalle des Hauptsponsors bis hin zu vereinsinterneren Vorlieben der Interessensgemeinschaft Jazz, der Stadt selbst und der involvierten Gastronomie. Dann kommt au\u00dferdem die Ver\u00e4nderung der Musik hinzu, die kaum noch Superstars, daf\u00fcr aber viel spannendes neues Personal zum Entdecken zu bieten hat. Die Jazzwoche versucht daher schon l\u00e4nger den Spagat zwischen Bew\u00e4hrtem, was die gro\u00dfe Halle f\u00fcllt, und Perspektivischem, das neue H\u00f6rer:innen und K\u00fcnstler:innen in die Stadt holt.<\/p>\n<h4>Ein gegl\u00fccktes Programm<\/h4>\n<p>Und in diesem Jahr ist dieses Wechselspiel der Anspr\u00fcche besonders gut gelungen. Denn auf der einen Seite konnte man junge Bands wie Feh, die Monika Roscher Big Band oder auch die Combos der Jazz Night und des Next in Jazz-Sonntags erleben. Auf der anderen Seite aber klappte die Anbindung an die Tradition mit dem hinrei\u00dfend eleganten Quartett des Bassisten Ron Carter. Den Blick \u00fcber den Tellerrand schaffte das Festival mit aufw\u00e4ndigen Projekten etwa der britischen Trompeterin Laura Jurd oder des Komponisten Christian Muthspiel, der als Dirigent sein Orjazztra Vienna durch ein manchmal etwas \u00fcbervolles Widmungsprogramm an die Filme von Frederico Fellini f\u00fchrte. Die \u00dcberraschungen aber waren die ganz jungen Musiker des Festivals. Zum einen spielte der Blues-Gitarrist und S\u00e4nger DK Harrell sein erst zweites Deutschlandkonzert auf der gro\u00dfen B\u00fchne und schaffte es, das Publikum in einen schwelgenden Flow des wohlwollenden Gemeinschaftsgef\u00fchls zu versetzten.<\/p>\n<h4>Ein vielversprechender Newcomer<\/h4>\n<p>Die eigentliche Entdeckung war der Pianist Simone Locarni, der als Gewinner des dem Festival vorgeschalteten 14. Europ\u00e4ischen Burghauser Nachwuchswettbewerbs die Konzerte in der Wackerhalle er\u00f6ffnete. Er f\u00fchrte nicht nur den Beweis, dass Solo-Klavier auf gro\u00dfer B\u00fchne faszinieren und funktionieren kann, sondern entfaltete dar\u00fcber hinaus ein in sich stimmiges Klanguniversum, das von der melodischen Feinheit bis zur gro\u00dfen w\u00fchlenden Klaviergeste die Menschen mitnahm. Die Jazzwoche versucht daher schon l\u00e4nger den Spagat zwischen Bew\u00e4hrtem, was die gro\u00dfe Halle f\u00fcllt, und Perspektivischem, das neue H\u00f6rer:innen und K\u00fcnstler:innen in die Stadt holt.
