Beim offenohrigen Schlendern durch die Regensburger Altstadt deutete der erste Eindruck eher nicht darauf hin. Beim offenohrigen Schlendern durch die Regensburger Altstadt deutete der erste Eindruck eher nicht darauf hin. Neu waren aber einige Spielorte, darunter ein Schiff am Donauufer und einige Clubs, segensreich die Streichung der vom Durchgangsverkehr fr\u00fcher immer arg in Mitleidenschaft gezogenen B\u00fchne auf dem Kohlenmarkt. Die inhaltlich pr\u00e4gnanteste Neuerung war die Pr\u00e4senz der bayerischen Musikhochschulen M\u00fcnchen, W\u00fcrzburg und N\u00fcrnberg mit ihren Jazzstudieng\u00e4ngen. F\u00fcr sie war mit dem Bismarckplatz ein prominenter, stets gut besuchter Auftrittsort reserviert. Hier lie\u00df beim Samstagsblock vor allem die N\u00fcrnberger Combo \u201eMonk\u2019s Music\u201c rund um den h\u00f6r- und sichtbar alles gebenden Saxophonisten Sebastian Gille aufhorchen. Die Ecken und Kanten von Thelonious Monks unverwechselbarer Musik findet sich hier in einen Kollektivsound \u00fcbersetzt, der von der sonoren Stimme Moses Kamdems gepr\u00e4gt wird. So darf es in Sachen Hochschulpr\u00e4senz n\u00e4chstes Jahr gerne weitergehen.
