Vor einer guten Woche sollte der Ticket-Vorverkauf f\u00fcr das deutsche Jazzfest Berlin, das vom 5. bis 8. November stattfindet, starten, doch wurde er erst einmal auf unbestimmte Zeit verschoben, da nicht klar ist, welche Auswirkungen die Pandemieentwicklung auf den Veranstaltungsbetrieb haben wird. Das Festival findet aber auf jeden Fall online statt und die Konzerte werden auf verschiedenen Plattformen gestreamt: Jazzfest Berlin on Demand<\/a>, Jazzfest Berlin Festivalstream<\/a>, ARTE Concert<\/a> und Website Roulette<\/a> in New York.
\nIm Zentrum der dritten Festivalausgabe der k\u00fcnstlerischen Leiterin Nadin Deventer steht die Verbindung der Jazzszenen in Berlin und New York. Das Festival pr\u00e4sentiert Live-Konzerte im silent green Berlin, im Roulette in Brooklyn New York und deutschlandweit in acht Rundfunkstudios sowie zahlreiche Auftragsarbeiten, darunter multimediale Projekte und Video-Produktionen.
\nInsgesamt sind bei den 27 Live-Projekten des Jazzfest Berlin 2020 \u00fcber 30 Musikerinnen aus den USA und \u00fcber 40 in Berlin lebende, internationale Musiker<\/em>innen zu erleben; au\u00dferdem K\u00fcnstler*innen aus London und \u00fcber 50 aus den verschiedenen Regionen Deutschlands. Per Streaming-Standleitung werden das Roulette (New-York) mit der Betonhalle des silent green (Berlin) miteinander verbunden, um zw\u00f6lf hochkar\u00e4tige Bands in einen Dialog treten zu lassen. In New York spielen \u2013 nach M\u00f6glichkeit vor Live-Publikum \u2013 Anna Webber, Tomas Fujiwara, Lakecia Benjamin, Craig Taborn, Tomeka Reid und Joel Ross mit ihren aktuellen Formationen. In Berlin sind Lina Allemano’s Ohrenschmaus, MEOW!, Y-Otis, das Jim Black Trio sowie zwei Auftragsarbeiten von Silke Eberhard und dem Duo TRAINING mit dem amerikanische Gitarrist John Dieterich (Deerhoof) und der Video-K\u00fcnstlerin I\u015f\u0131l Karata\u015f zu erleben.
\nIm \u201eJazzfest Berlin Outer Spaces\u201c gehen in drei weiteren Auftragswerken die internationalen Subszenen Berlins und Londons ebenfalls neue interdisziplin\u00e4re Konstellationen ein. Sie inszenieren mit raumspezifischen Projekten die Planetarien-\u00e4hnliche Architektur der Kuppelhalle des silent green. Die kreativen K\u00f6pfe dieser multimedialen Projekte sind \u2013 aus Berlin \u2013 der schwedische Bassist Joel Grip und das britisch-kolumbianische Duo Witch ’n‘ Monk sowie aus London der Pianist Alexander Hawkins, der sich mit dem aus Beirut stammenden Visual-Artist und Rapper Siska zusammentut.<\/p>\n
