Durch ihren Vater, den Singer-Songwriter Hakon Paulsberg, kam Hanna Paulsberg mit Jazz in Ber\u00fchrung. Vor zehn Jahren, noch w\u00e4hrend ihres Studiums in Trondheim, gr\u00fcndete sie ihr bis heute unver\u00e4ndert bestehendes Quartett Hanna Paulsberg Concept. Die dortige Universit\u00e4t verlieh ihr 2015 den mit einem hohen Stipendium verbundenen Titel \u201eJazzbotschafterin\u201c. Regelm\u00e4\u00dfig spielte Paulsberg mit dem renommierten Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, diverse Male zudem mit dem US-Pianisten Chick Corea oder mit der Band Motorpsycho. Mit ihrem luftigen Sound auf dem Tenorsaxofon formt sie klar durchgestaltete Linien \u2013 auch da, wo ihre Musik freier und hymnischer wird.
