BMW Welt Jazz Award: Giovanni Guidi Konzert wg. COVID-19 ersatzlos gestrichen<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Aufgrund der aktuellen Entwicklungen und weiterer Ausweitung der Corona Risikogebiete in Norditalien hat der BMW AG Krisenstab heute Morgen entschieden, zum Schutze der Mitarbeiter und der G\u00e4ste das letzte Konzert des BMW Welt Jazz Award ersatzlos zu streichen. Die beiden Finalistenbands werden von der Jury aus den f\u00fcnf bisher im Doppelkegel spielen Ensembles ermittelt. Dies sind das Cecilie Grundt Quintet, das Andrea Hermenau Quintet, das Adam Baldych Quartet, das Peter Gall Quintet sowie das Trio Reis\/Demuth\/Wiltgen.<\/p>\n

Gegen den Strom: Das S\u00fcdtirol Jazzfestival Altoadige stellt sein Programm 2020 vor<\/h3>\n

das diesj\u00e4hrige Motto des S\u00fcdtiroler Jazzfestival nimmt sich den Verlauf der Donau als Vorbild f\u00fcr eine Reise in den Osten Europas. Vor dem Fall des „eisernen Vorhangs“ war der Jazz in den staatssozialistischen Gesellschaften ein exotisches Nischenprodukt. Das Festival erkundet wie sich Musik in den osteurop\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern seit 1989 weiterentwickelt hat und, laut dem Motto des Festivals, wie die dortige Musikszene abseits des Mainstreams „gegen den Strom“ schwimmt. In 2019 pr\u00e4sentierte das Festival bereits unz\u00e4hlige andere europ\u00e4ische L\u00e4nder und setzt diese internationale Herangehensweise weiter fort. Des Weiteren soll wieder mit au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Locations gepunktet werden. Dieses Jahr findet das S\u00fcdtirol Jazz Festival Altoadige vom 26. Juni bis 5. Juli statt.<\/p>\n
