Das hat sich l\u00e4ngst ge\u00e4ndert, und immer neue Stimmen geben diesem Streichinstrument, das wie kein zweites f\u00fcr Klassik, Hochkultur und Virtuosit\u00e4t steht, eine Heimat im Bereich des modernen Jazz. Derzeit angesagtester Vertreter dieser Gattung ist der Pole Adam Baldych, der trotz Orkan &#8222;Sabine&#8220;\u00a0 zusammen mit seinem Quartett nach M\u00fcnchen in den BMW Doppelkegel gekommen war, um in den Wettstreit um die begehrte Troph\u00e4e des BMW Welt Jazz Awards einzusteigen. Die vier Polen lieferten eine hochprofessionelle Vorstellung, deren musikalische Bandbreite von Hildegard von Bingen, Thomas Tallis bis in die Gegenwart der improvisierten Musik reichte.
