Ein Saal wie das Solit\u00e4r im Neubau des Mozarteums mit gro\u00dfem Panoramafenster Richtung M\u00f6nchsberg w\u00e4re andernorts wom\u00f6glich Immobilienspekulanten zum Opfer gefallen, denn exklusiver geht es kaum. Salzburg aber leistet sich Musik, angedockt an den feudalen Park des Schlosses Mirabell, in Rufn\u00e4he zum Stadttheater. Tina Heine wiederum, die nun zum dritten Mal das Programm von \u201eJazz &amp; The City\u201c verantwortet, wei\u00df genau, dass so ein Raum nach Hochkultur lechzt und sorgt daf\u00fcr, dass er am wichtigen Finalsamstag des Festivals auch mit passenden Projekten bespielt wird. Da ist zum Beispiel die Pianistin Tamar Halperin, die sich im Duo mit dem allerdings sehr dezent agierenden Elektroniker Guy Sternberg Satie, Cage, Corea widmet. Der Trompeter Markus Stockhausen pr\u00e4sentiert eine gute Stunde Musikwelten im Duo mit dem Pianisten Florian Weber. Auch hier stand einst Kammermusik Pate, aber als Klanghaltung, nicht als Gestaltungskonzept. Beide Musiker sind einerseits ph\u00e4nomenale Instrumentalisten, die l\u00e4ngst individuell und im Gespann eigene Formen der Phrasierung, der Einkreisung von musikalischen Zentren und der Durchdringung k\u00fcnstlerischer Energie entwickelt haben. Viel mehr Empathie und Offenheit in einem Konzert kann ein Duo nicht entfalten und so wirkte beispielsweise die Kombination des Pablo Held Trios mit den Gitarristen Ralph Towner im Vergleich schon beinahe zahm. Am gleichen Vorabend im Stadttheater zu Gast, arbeiteten sie an \u00e4hnlichen Fragen der k\u00fcnstlerischen Fundamentierung von Improvisation, blieben aber deutlich mehr an der Oberfl\u00e4che des Formalen h\u00e4ngen, was letztlich in Harmonie, nicht in Mut m\u00fcndete. Den wiederum stellten der Schlagzeuger Edward Perraud und der Saxofonist Thomas de Pourquery in den Mittelpunkt, ersterer im Quartett im B\u00f6sendorfersaal des Mozarteums, das sich als Laborversuch frei flie\u00dfender Komplexit\u00e4t entpuppte, letzterer als Abschluss des Abends auf der gro\u00dfen B\u00fchne des Szene Club mit einer etwas \u00fcberdrehten Version popjazziger Avantgarde.
