Guido May feierte bei der Munich Jazz Summer Week seinen 50. Geburtstag! Daf\u00fcr trommelte der international gefragte Schlagzeuger aus Bad Reichenhall am 24. und 25. August im M\u00fcncher Jazzclub Unterfahrt seine Formation „Groove Extravaganza“ zusammen. Deren Altsaxophonist James Morton spielte bereits mit Fred Wesley und The Herbaliser, w\u00e4hrend Tony Remy (Gitarre) mit Annie Lennox und Incognito tourte. Komplemeniert wurde die Kombo von Pianist Jason Rebello, der als Sideman von Sting bekannt wurde, und Pee Wee Ellis am Tenorsaxophon. Thomas J. Krebs war f\u00fcr uns in M\u00fcnchen dabei.<\/p>\n
