An gleich f\u00fcnf Tagen, vom 14. bis 18. August, trat im Rahmen der Munich Jazz Summer Week das Afro-Jazz-Quartett rund um Pianisten Cornelius Claudio Kreusch auf. Im M\u00fcncher Jazzclub Unterfahrt wurde der Komponist von seinen langj\u00e4hrigen Weggef\u00e4hrten Zaf Zapha (Bass) und Maxime Zampieri (Schlagzeug) unterst\u00fctzt; Gast-Saxophonist Bobby Watson rundete das Ensemble ab. Der 65-J\u00e4hrige ist bekannt als Leader der Band Horizon und des 29th Street Saxophone Quartet sowie der Tailor-Made BigBand. Mit dem Projekt „Black Mud Sound“ tourt Kreusch anl\u00e4sslich der Wiederver\u00f6ffentlichung seines gleichnamigen Albums aus dem Jahr 1994. Damals hatte er mit den Saxophonkl\u00e4ngen von Kenny Garrett kooperiert. Thomas J. Krebs hielt die Eindr\u00fccke aus M\u00fcnchen f\u00fcr uns fotografisch fest.<\/p>\n
