Dieses Ph\u00e4nomen wendet das europ\u00e4ische Kollektiv \u201eCoastline Paradox 5\u201c um die beiden Bl\u00e4ser Richard K\u00f6ster (tp) und Damian Dalla Torre (ts, bcl) in einer Mischung aus langen Spannungsb\u00f6gen und subtilen, intuitiven Nahaufnahmen an. Im Arkadenhof entfalteten die f\u00fcnf Musiker ihre musikalische Landschaften zwischen zarten, versponnenen Unisono-Linien, repetitiven Pianomotiven, sirrenden Sounds und klaren kraftvollen Attacken, die manchmal wie Warnsignale wirkten. Im l\u00fcftungverrauschten Degginger pr\u00e4sentierte die M\u00fcnchner S\u00e4ngerin eigene Songs, wie das nachdenklich \u201eMany Moons Ago\u201c, und eigens arrangierte moderne Jazzsongs. Atemberaubend wie die beiden durch verzwickte Wendungen ihrer ungemein spritzigen Version von Chick Coreas \u201eSpain\u201c rasen, das Publikum rast begeistert mit. Was Stimmumfang, die F\u00e4higkeit federleicht lautmalerisch zu improvisieren und das Ausloten feinster Stimmungen und Nuancen angeht, reichen Elwood aktuell wohl nur wenige andere S\u00e4ngerinnen das Wasser. Woran es ihr mangelt, ist ein wenig mehr Charisma. Im Arkadenhof entfalteten die f\u00fcnf Musiker ihre musikalische Landschaften zwischen zarten, versponnenen Unisono-Linien, repetitiven Pianomotiven, sirrenden Sounds und klaren kraftvollen Attacken, die manchmal wie Warnsignale wirkten. Je n\u00e4her man da mit den Ohren ranr\u00fcckte, desto gehaltvoller und ergiebiger wurde das Erlebnis \u2013 und entfaltete von einer fast meditativen Ruhe, \u00fcber versteckten Witz, bis zu unheimlichen Momenten und m\u00e4rchenhaft-romantischen Stimmungen ein faszinierendes Klangpanorama. Vom Quartett, mit dem sie vor zwei Jahren zu h\u00f6ren war, ist Nathalie Elwoods Projekt auf ein Duo mit dem Pianisten Josef Re\u00dfle geschrumpft. Im l\u00fcftungverrauschten Degginger pr\u00e4sentierte die M\u00fcnchner S\u00e4ngerin eigene Songs, wie das nachdenklich \u201eMany Moons Ago\u201c, und eigens arrangierte moderne Jazzsongs.
